Overview:

My husband Bryan and I have been
partners in and operated three
restaurants prior to Rockwell's in
Dallas, TX over the past twelve years.
Uptown Bar & Grill, one of those
businesses, was awarded "The Best
Burger in Dallas" by D Magazine after
a six-month long blind taste test. (D
Magazine is much like the Chicago
Magazine here.)

We left our positions at the Dallas
restaurants for a change of scenery.
Since my entire extended family lives
in and around the Chicago area, it
seemed a wise move to come to the
Windy City to start our own place.

Since opening in May 2004, we have
been named one of the Best Burgers
in Chicago by The Chicago Tribune.
We have also been featured on the
T.V. Show 190 North for being a 100%
Smoke-free establishment by choice.
Our menu is a mix of American, Tex-
Mex and Cajun. Most of our menu
items are made from scratch daily. We
take great pride in our ample
portions, reasonable prices and
friendly, neighborhood atmosphere.
We feature a nightly dinner special,
including a soup feature in the winter
months. In the warm months, enjoy
your meal on our quiet patio.
